Climb x

Yesterday I tried something new! Indoor rock climbing! I've always been interested in rock climbing but never really knew how one would go about such a random hobby. Stumbled upon a living social deal for an indoor climbing venue in Huntington Beach and my friend Bree and I purchased it to try out! It was a lot of fun and my arms are very sore. I was pretty confident that I would make it to the top my first day but the higher I climbed, my fear got the best of me. No worries though, I'll be back next week ringing that bell at the top! Next, Yosemite 😜

welp ive managed to fully ignore this blog for most of 2013. so bring on 2014! haha

new years resolution this year is to work on my distance running. im one of those people that slowly jogs for thirty seconds and then deem my 'work out' a success. lets see if a half marathon is in my future.

i also discovered the most amazing mascara known to woman (or man). its called 'better than sex' by too faced and it is fully worth the $25. who knew my lashes could look so long and luxurious on their own?

Today I went to Scotsfest! If everything wasn't so ridiculously priced it may have been more fun but regardless I shot my first bow and arrow and drank a giant beer. I deem today a success (minus all the calories I consumed in beer and meat)

color run!

finally got to experience the color run and it was a blast! i am so motivated to train and do other races and events! the tough mudder looks awesome to me, but also really intimidating. Next challenge!

Wake up in the morning and I ask myself

Went out the other night with Brandon, his coworker and a couple of his old friends from school. Mostly lots of alcohol and awkward conversation but on the ride home we had an amazing cab driver who was Ukrainian and kept a bongo drum in his cab. I don't know if you've ever drummed to 2pacs changes, but i definitely just did.

swim suit hell

Only one more week until i get a weekend off to relax and hang out with my best friends! i am kind of bummed i didnt request at least one more day off with it but i am grateful for it nonetheless. I officially watched all of Breaking Bad and i highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt watched! shockingly, my father was the one who suggested the show to me and i am shocked at how much i enjoyed it.

Went shopping today and it was rather unsuccessful :( I had been looking forward to my day off to finally go and find a swim suit etc but i (stupidly) decided to go out for drinks last night and surprise surprise drank too much, ate too much and woke up hungover. So i wasnt exactly in the best of shape to be trying on swimsuits and just depressing myself. I think im going to need to shell out the dough and get one of those swim suits from Victoria's Secret that actually sizes to their bra size. Just spending $50 on half a swim suit is absurd to me, hopefully it will last me 10 years haha
